Street corner radii shall be as small as <br /> possible to minimize pedestrian crossing distances <br /> (maximum curve radii of 20 to 30 feet for Arterials <br /> and Collectors,and 10 to 20 feet for local streets). <br /> Arterial intersections which are anticipated to <br /> experience consistent high volumes of truck traffic <br /> may utilize curb radii of up to 60 feet,subject to <br /> review and approval by the CSD. Bulb or bumpout <br /> ON-SITE comer radii may be used where it can be determined <br /> ROADWAY that safety will not be impaired. Radii less than 20 to <br /> CIRCULATIO 25 feet should not be used for street comers at <br /> N AND intersections which are(or may be)part of a transit Corner radii will meet CSD standards which minimizes <br /> 1002 9.5.I.a DESIGN route or school bus route.
