The improvement plan <br /> for each industrial and commercial site shall provide <br /> secured bicycle facilities free-of-charge to all <br /> employees. These facilities shall include lockers or <br /> racks as appropriate. Bicycle storage for commercial, <br /> industrial,office,and public uses shall be provided at a <br /> rate of five spaces per building complex plus one space <br /> for every 15 automobile parking spaces. Office <br /> buildings or office complexes that are 50,000 net <br /> rentable square feet or larger or contain 100 or more <br /> employees shall provide at least one shower and <br /> seven lockers for men and at least one shower and <br /> seven lockers for women as an incentive for <br /> employees and visitors to walk,jog,or bicycle. Based <br /> on this standard,additional facilities shall be added for <br /> additional employees and/or square feet(i.e.,one <br /> locker for every 15 additional employees,a second <br /> shower at 200 employees or 100,00 square feet,etc.).
