Project Location <br /> The proposed Mountain House Neighborhood Tract "F", Unit #2 (Tract 2925 ) Tentative <br /> Subdivision Map (hereinafter referred to as the "proposed project," "Tract 2925," or "Mountain <br /> House Subdivision") applies to a project within the larger Mountain House New Community which <br /> is located in San Joaquin County along its border with Alameda County (see Figure 1, Figure 2, <br /> and Figure 3). The project site is in the central portion of the Mountain House New Community <br /> and covers one of 12 proposed neighborhoods within Mountain House. The proposed project <br /> represents the first phase of development within the Mountain House New Community. Regional <br /> access is provided from Interstate 205 (1-205), with local access provided by Mountain House <br /> Parkway along the site's eastern edge, Grant Line Road south of the site and Byron Road north of <br /> the site (see Figure 1). <br /> 2. Overall Development <br /> Land Uses. The proposed project would entail development of about 407 acres (8.5 percent) of <br /> the approximately 4,800 acres of the Mountain House New Community (see Table 1). <br /> Subdivision of the land into a total of 1,006 lots (see Figure 4) has been proposed. Of these, 978 <br /> lots would be for tingle-family residential use and four large lots would be set aside for high- <br /> -1- <br />
