All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed food debris on the rims of the reach-in freezers. Observed food debris on the bottom of a <br />reach-in freezer. Clean and maintain clean as needed to protect food from contamination. Correct today. <br />--------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Observed food items in the 2-door CCK prep cooler, 2-door True prep cooler, and the walk-in cooler that were not covered. <br />Maintain food items covered with lids or plastic wrap to protect from contamination. Provide a thermometer for the cooler and place <br />in an easily visible location inside. Correct within seven days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An accurate easily readable metal probe thermometer suitable for measuring temperature of food shall be <br />available to the food handler. A thermometer +/- 2 #F shall be provided for each hot and cold holding unit of potentially hazardous foods <br />and high temperature warewashing machines. (114157, 114159) <br /> #44 Premises: Clean/Litter Free; Vermin-Proof <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed the facility's window on the west and door to the outdoors on the east end of building are <br />lacking screens. Provide screens to ensure the premises is maintained vermin-proof.
