SANJOAQUIN <br /> Environmental Health Department <br />COUNTY <br />Time In: 1:46 pm <br />Time Out: 3:00 pm <br />COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />Name of Facility: CHOP CHOP Date: 05/19/2022 <br />Address: 910W LODI AVE, LODI 95240 <br />Owner/Operator: LI, HUA FENG Telephone: (209) 369-7744 <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: C00054903 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT WENT TO FACILITY ON 5/16/22 AROUND 5:00 PM AND BROUGHT HOME TO EAT IMMEDIATELY. <br />TWO HOURS LATER WOKE UP WITH UPSET STOMACH, PAIN IN HIP AND COULD NOT WALK/STAND. <br />COMPLAINANT ATE SWEET N SOUR PORK THAT WAS VERY HARD TO CHEW, NOODLES AND RICE AND BELIEVE <br />THIS IS WHAT CAUSED ILLNESS. DID NOT SEE DR OR SPEAK WITH FACILITY AND IS FEELING WELL AT THE <br />TIME OF COMPLAINT. CALL BACK AFTER INSPECTION <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION --TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />I went to the facility and spoke to the owner who is not aware of the complaint. <br />Per owner there has not been any ill employees for the last two weeks. <br />Sweet and sour pork is: <br />Frozen meat, defrosted under cool running water, meat is cut and put in flour, cornstarch. salt. and deep fried and then stirred <br />in boiling sauce (catsup, vinegar ans sugar) <br />Noodles are raw and boiled, drained and stir fried with sauce (sugar, oil and oyster sauce) <br />I observed cut pork pieces being battered and deep fried. <br />I observed pans of noodles that were cooling and are not out for more that 4 hours per owner. <br />After pork pieced are deep fried they are cooled for 1 hour and place in the 2 door reach in (41F) <br />Pork pieces are refried when ordered and stirred in boiled sweet and sour sauce (200F) <br />Operator turned in stem table where fried rice is placed (135F) <br />Prepared chow mein (167F) <br />Other items:1 observed a large colander of rice that was just prepared (147F) that is placed next to the cooking area that is <br />portioned and some is placed on the steam table. <br />Provide rice under temperature control. <br />Operator placed remaining rice in the colander in rice pots to maintain 135F or higher during inspection. <br />I observed one cockroach on the floor of the hallway. <br />Per operator there is pest control in place. <br />I observed most recent inspection report dated 5/11/2022. <br />FA0000563 C00054903 SC004 05/19/2022 <br />EHD 16-23 Rev. 04/07/22 <br />Page 1 of 2 Complaint Inspection Report <br />1868 E.
