Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool <br /> area except where otherwise prohibited by law. Ok, corrected. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained,readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope.
