Provide today. Ok corrected. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br /> Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool <br /> area except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 31198) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br /> maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:"Keep Closed" sign is lacking for gate. Provide today. Ok, corrected. <br /> Number to nearest emergency services and name of facility and street address of facility is lacking on sign. Provide today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained.(CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole, gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified.(CBC 3120B) <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Rescue pole lacking. Provide safety hook that is a minimum of 12 feet in length- Provide today. <br /> Life ring is lacking. Provide life ring with rope that spans a minimum width of the pool. Ok, corrected. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained,readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Light does not turn on. Provide functional light and GFI within two days. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting.
