BACKUS <br />05/24/2022 Called business owner Ranjit Singh 408-355-5700 and set up inspection today at BACKUS <br />12:30. <br />05/24/2022 Met owner Ranjit Singh and inspected site with Gabriela Garcia-Meija. No <br />hazardous waste was observed on-site. Educated the owner Ranjit about <br />hazardous waste disposal and Environmental Health hazardous materials and <br />hazardous waste generator permits. On-site truck repair shop will be opening in <br />the next few months. <br />BACKUS <br />Unable to verify the complaint. <br />05/24/2022 Went out with Garrett B. Spoke with Ranjit Singh who is one of the business <br />owners. We went around the facility to see if there were any hazardous wastes on <br />site. Looked inside facility dumpster. No hazardous wastes were observed on site. <br />GARCIA-MEJIA <br />Advised Ranjit that once he is ready to open for business he can contact the <br />Environmental Health Department to inquire about permits. <br />5105.rpt Page 1 of 1
