Morada Ln , Stockton , CA 95215 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD) has completed the review of the <br /> application for a permit to do the following on the underground storage tank ( UST) system at the above <br /> noted address : <br /> • replace the 87 , 91 , and diesel drop tubes with shut-off valve (flapper) <br /> The permit has been approved with the following conditions : <br /> 1 . Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust ( sigov . org to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> (a 48- hour notice is required for inspection appointments) . <br /> a . Overfill prevention verification : Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95 % tank volume shut <br /> off. Verification of flapper functionality . Ensure that all pertinent tank charts and <br /> calculations are available for review at the time of inspection . <br /> b . Verification that ball float (s) , if installed , do not interfere with the installed flapper valve . <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the 87, 91 , and diesel tanks prior <br /> to the EHD inspection and approval . <br /> 4 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications : <br /> a . Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid , <br /> current contractor' s licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board ( may be issued <br /> to the installation company) , or a Tank Tester' s license issued to the individual by the State <br /> Water Board <br /> b . Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid , current California UST Service Technician <br /> certificate issued by the International Code Council ( ICC) <br /> c . Possesses a valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br /> component (s) being tested , repaired , or serviced <br /> 1868 E .
