Nitro Raptor Wastewater Treatment and Disposal System
Performance Demonstration
For the purpose of demonstrating the NitroRaptor VdWTP effluent performance we have
assembled data from the Auburn Valley CSD NitroRaptor system.
The Auburn Valley NitroRaptor is similar to the Fair Oaks Ranch and Linne Estates
treatment system in design nature and treatment features.
Effluent was collected throughout the months of November and December 2003. Based
on the sample analyses the NitroRaptor treatment system demonstrated compliance with
the Fair Oaks Ranch Waste Discharge Requirements (WDR) Order#5-00-226. The
effluent limitations are as follows:
Constituent Units 30-dav average Dailv Maximum
BOD Mg/1 40 80
Total Settleable Solids Ml/hr - 0.2
Nitrate as N Mg/1 5 10
TDS Mg/1 1000 1250
Total Coliform MPN/100m1 23 240
' NitroRaptor effluent compliance data analyzed in November and December is
summarized below:
Constituent Units 30-dav average Dailv Maximum
BOD Mg/1 0.75 3.0
Total Settleable Solids Ml/hr -
Nitrate as N Mg/1 2.34 6.59
TDS Mg/l 812.5 924
Total Coliform MPN/100ml Q.2 2
The Auburn Valley effluent does not require settleable solids monitoring, therefore no
data is available. It should be noted that suspended solids are monitored and are very low
to non-detectable. Please review the following data summary worksheet for all
parameters analyzed at Auburn Valley.
In conclusion, the NitroRaptor treatment system will comply with the above effluent
requirements.
