Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. A. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study, indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to Parcel Map or Certificate of Compliance (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- 1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required, and a review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. B. Construction of individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/nitrate loading findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- 1115.3). C. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s) under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4).
