Carbon Dioxide <br /> was reported on the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS),was reported at 53 liquid gallons. <br /> Observed an approximate 300 liquid gallon CO2 tank. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE :The Hazardous materials inventory information must be current and submitted as part <br /> of the business plan. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)at <br /> http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 11 HSC 25505(a)(4) Failed to provide or document initial and/or refresher training to appropriate personnel. <br /> OBSERVATION: Jesse Singh, Manager, could not provide employee training on; <br /> (A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified <br /> program agency. <br /> (B)Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons, property, or the environment. <br /> (C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice,for the business site. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business plan shall include provisions for ensuring that appropriate personnel <br /> receive initial and annual refresher training.All employees shall be trained in safety procedures in the event of a <br /> release or threatened release of a hazardous material, including, but not limited to,familiarity with the following <br /> plans and procedures: <br /> (A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified <br /> program agency. <br /> (B)Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons, property, or the environment. <br /> (C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice,for the business site. <br /> This training shall be documented electronically or by hard copy and shall be made available for a minimum of three <br /> years. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately provide employee training for appropriate personnel and submit a copy of the <br /> training records to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Conducted a Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) inspection. There were 2 violation(s) during the <br /> inspection.
