2

Thank you for your time,

Frederick Ernest
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health
209-616-3026
fernest@sjgov.org

From: Augustine, Sean (Sean) <Sean.Augustine@7-11.com>
Sent: Thursday, October 13, 2022 2:15 PM
To: Ernest, Frederick [EHD] <fernest@sjgov.org>
Subject: RE: 121 S Center St. CUPA Inspection Reports

Frederick,

Thank you for taking my call earlier and for sending over your reports.

Regarding the bulk CO2 unit at this station, I believe the reported storage volume in CERS to be accurate. Based on a
web search of similar products and a related OC Health Care Agency training guide
(https://www.ochealthinfo.com/sites/hca/files/import/data/files/89366.pdf ), it appears as though the 53 gal volume is
consistent with the size of the unit present (tank weight should be 400-500 lbs.). Does your agency require CO2 to be
reported in a different unit, such as lbs.?

Please let me know if you’d like to discuss this item further, and I will be in touch shortly to close out remaining
observations from your inspection.

Thank you,
