<br /> Purpose: The purpose of the Community Development Department application approval process Is to provide a single coordinated
<br /> approval process for single or muiti•bullding proposals In conformance with the Stockton Airport Speclal Purpose Plan.
<br /> Process: The specified plans,diagrams and documents are submitted to the San Joaquin County Community Development
<br /> Department(CDD)to begin the review and approval process. The CDD will review the application for completeness,and forward it to
<br /> additional required approving bodies,Including the Stockton Metropolitan Airport Design Review Commiltee,the Federal Aviation
<br /> Agency,and any additional required agencies. If the submittal Is found to Us consistent with the Special Purpose Plan and moots the
<br /> additional approving agency roqulroments,it will be approved and the applicant may apply for a building permit. If the Application Is
<br /> found to have significant Inconsistencies with the Special Purpose Pan or othor agency codes and regulations,the CDD will deny the
<br /> applicatlon and inform the applicant In writing of the specific inconsistencies. Tho applicant may then,a)correct the inconsistencies
<br /> and resubmit Ilia application,b)apply for an amendment to the Special Purpose Plan,or,e)appeal the denial to the Planning
<br /> Commission,and ultimately the County Board of Supervisors.
