All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The life hook is not properly attached to the life pole. Properly secure the hook to the pole today or face <br />possible closure. <br />Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Two of the pool enclosure's entrance gates lack KEEP CLOSED signage. Post KEEP CLOSED signage <br />on the exterior side of these two gates. Correct today. <br />Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The cyanuric acid (cya) level of the pool is greater than 100ppm. Take action to reduce the cya level to <br />less than 100ppm. Correct ASAP. <br />REPEAT VIOLATION <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: The effluent gauge of the pool filter is missing. Provide an effluent gauge by 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
