The underlying project includes a Minor Subdivision with four (4)
resultant parcels.
Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings:
Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for
standard OWTS usage for the proposed development pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance
Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
2. Percolation test conducted on yielded a percolation rate of 12.5 minutes per inch on Parcels 1 & 3,
13.9 minutes per inch on Parcel 2, and 8.6 minutes per inch on Parcel 4. At this rate, an eight -foot soil
separation shall be required between bottom of dispersal field and groundwater pursuant to San
Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment Standard table 1.10.2. Per SSNL Study, groundwater
on site is reported between 50 to 80 feet below surface grade.
3. The OWTS and its 100% replacement areas shall meet all required minimum setbacks stated in San
Joaquin County (OWTS) Standard and Well Standard.
4. There is a public well located on the adjacent parcel APN 087-210-32 along the northern boundary of
Parcel 1. This will require a 150 setback from septic tanks, leachlines, and sumps with a depth of 8
feet or less; and a 200 foot setback from pits and sumps with a depth greater than 8 feet on Parcels
1 and 2.
If you have any questions please contact Frank Girardi,
at fvgir i@sjgov.org or (209) 598-7001.
Steven Shih, REHS
Program Coordinator
Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist,
c: Ms. Chelsea Chandler, PO Box 507, Stockton CA 95201
1868 E.
