This includes an updated map
(item 6),with additions for a clearer and more developed legend bringing attention to where items are kept, as well as
addresses all emergency shut offs, any internal roads, and drains. All additional oils, greases, solvents, and other
hazardous materials that had been missed have now been updated on our list(item 5). We have noted that the file has been
accepted. We have also put procedures in place to ensure that we do not miss our end of year update of the CERS
submittal(item 9). The omission of the one year was oversight brought on by lack of procedure to prioritize submission of
updated data.
I located our SPCC plan and noted the information was outdated. As such I rebuilt the entire SPCC plan and made certain
to display it prominently in the Maintenance office(See attached picture)with a summary of procedures in the event of a
spill. Should you like,I can submit a copy of the updated SPCC plan to you for your records.
We conducted a training session(item 11)to review not only the inspection report, but also housekeeping items, labeling
of materials, and better record keeping, this includes making sure manifests are turned into office for proper handling
(item 113). This training will be refreshed at the end of the year to make sure we address changes or concerns in the
handling and labeling of our materials. Training will also be conducted and documented upon new hires who are
processing our hazardous inventory and disposal as part of their initial training.
Our facility has gone though and addressed all the areas pointed out by the inspector. Temporary containers used to
collect hazardous materials from our operations have all been emptied into the appropriate waste containers(item 301 and
406),wiped out and we have addressed the quantity of these containers to reduce the number of them available, this
should assist in making sure they are properly emptied after use. Employees have been counseled on the importance of
keeping lids on hazardous disposal containers (item 403).New labels have been placed on bulk waste containers,as well
as unmarked containers of hazardous materials so that they can be properly handled and/or disposed of(items 505, 605).
All containers of hazardous waste which were unlabeled were identified and disposed of with the pickup on June 15, 2022
(item 601). With these items being address,Lawrence M. Alegre Trucking, Inc.has identified and handled all areas of
concern which were brought up during the inspection.
I have included photographs of the different area where photos were taken with a short description of how we addressed
each of these observations of improper storages and potential areas of environmental contamination.
We would like to thank you for bringing these issues to our attention and will work diligently to make sure we do a better
job of keeping on top of these issues as to keep from repeating them in the future.
Thank you,
Dante Ridolfi
darido1fi(a)1matruckine.com
