All water collected by storm drains is collected in a storm water separator.
Robert M. indicates storm water is released to delta after being separated by the storm water separator. Storm
water is monitored by the facility. Residual liquid left in the storm water separator is pumped out and disposed of
as hazardous waste. Ore is brought in from rail cars and stored under a canopy then loaded to ships using a
conveyor. Loading operations were discussed with Robert M.. He indicated tarps are used to collect any mineral
ore lost from loading operations. The ore is also watered to prevent the ore from turning to dust during the
loading process.
FA0009191 PR0539008 SCO01 06/21/2022
EHD 22-02 Rev.12/06/2021 Page 5 of 6 Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR
1868 E.
