OBSERVATION: The business operator could not produce documentation during the inspection that demonstrates employees have complete hazardous waste training as specified in this section. -No annual or new hired training records was observed during the time of inspection. Observed a safety training record from 6/13/2018. -Three outdated employee training records was observed. Three new employees was observed but no training records was provided for them. REGULATION GUIDANCE: New employees shall be trained within 180 days of hire and annually thereafter as specified in Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66265.16.The owner or operator shall maintain training records on current personnel until closure of the facility and training records on former employees for at least three years from the date the employee last worked at the facility. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train all employees who work with hazardous waste in compliance with the time frames and training materials required by this section. Provide training documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. The documentation must include a list of training topics, date of training,job title, name of employee,written job description (qualifications and duties), and employee signed (or certified)record that documents the training.
