The site map is missing the location of the hazardous waste storage <br />area in the service shop. Add the location of the hazardous waste area to the site map and then upload the updated <br />site map in CERS. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A site map shall contain a north orientation, loading areas, internal roads, adjacent <br />streets, storm and sewer drains, access and exit points, emergency shutoffs, evacuation staging areas, hazardous <br />material handling and storage areas, and emergency response equipment. <br /> If a site map element is not applicable for your facility then list it on the map and label as “NA". <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at <br />http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 7 HSC 25505(a)(3) Failed to electronically submit an adequate ER procedures for a release or threatened release. <br />OBSERVATION: The emergency response(ER) procedures were not complete. The business has a hazardous <br />waste contingency plan uploaded in CERS. The business should have the emergency response and contingency <br />plan template that combines the hazardous waste and hazardous material business plan requirements, uploaded in <br />CERS. The emergency response and contingency plan template can be found in th emergency response and <br />contingency plan section in CERS. Complete the template and then upload the the template in CERS. <br />REGULATION GUIDANCE: A business plan shall include the following emergency response procedures for a <br />release or threatened release of hazardous materials, including, but not limited to, the following: <br /> - immediate notification of local emergency personnel and the Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> - procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br />persons, property, or the environment <br /> - evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the site <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at <br />http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Conducted a Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) inspection. There were 2 violations found during the <br />inspection. Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a <br />statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any <br />supporting paperwork, by 7/30/2022. <br />To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br />of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br />($152).
