COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br />10:30 am <br /> 9:42 am <br />Time Out: <br />Time In: <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Name of Facility: WALMART #1554 Date: 07/18/2022 <br />Address: 3223 E HAMMER LN, 95212 <br />Owner/Operator: WALMART INC.Telephone: (209) 473-2796 <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: CO0055018 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT ALLEGES BEEF JERKY STICK LOOKS WHITE. HOT CHILI PEPPER AND LIME FLAVORED MEAT <br />STICK. THE BRAND OWNED BY GROUP BIMBO. DISTRIBUTED BY CATTLEMAN CUT KENT. PURCHASED ON <br />6/28/22. THE SON BIT INTO AND IT TASTED BITTER. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />Complaint inspection. <br />APA coach was not aware of complaint. <br />Located Takis hot chili pepper and lime flavored meat sticks at front register snack shelves. <br />Meat sticks appeared to be reddish colored, did not observe any white meat sticks during the inspection. <br />Observed some white spots in a few of the meat sticks and orange liquid at the bottom part of a few other meat sticks. <br />The best buy dates on the meat sticks were 1/25/2023 and the packages appeared to be intact. <br />No violations observed during the inspection. <br />Discussed report with Shelly Sanchez, APA Coach. <br />No signature captured. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
