6.2. CONTINGENCY PLAN USE <br /> In the event of an emergency, the contingency plan is implemented by: <br /> • Calling the Fire Department <br /> • Containing and cleaning up small spills and releases if possible <br /> • Contacting a private cleanup contractor to contain and cleanup large <br /> spills and releases <br /> 6.3. EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS <br /> If only one employee is on the premises while the facility is operating, <br /> he/she must have immediate access to emergency communications <br /> equipment, such as a telephone or a hand-held two-way radio,capable of <br /> summoning external emergency assistance. <br /> The following information must be posted next to the telephone (or other <br /> emergency communication device): <br /> • The name and telephone number of the emergency coordinator; <br /> • The location of fire extinguishers and spill control material,and fire <br /> alarm; and <br /> • The telephone number of the fire department,unless the facility has a <br /> direct alarm. <br /> 6.4. EMERGENCY RESPONSE EQUIPMENT <br /> The facility must have the following emergency response equipment onsite <br /> and easily accessible: <br /> • Internal and external communication equipment <br /> • Fire control equipment <br /> • Water supply with adequate volume and pressure for fire suppression <br /> • Spill control equipment <br /> • Decontamination equipment <br /> • Personal protective equipment <br /> CGA 25 MAY 2015 <br />
