All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The free chlorine concentration at 25 ppm. Maintain free chlorine concentration between 3.0 ppm to <br /> 10.0 ppm immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> OBSERVATIONS <br /> Flow rate: 50 gpm Chlorine: 25 ppm Temp: 101.00 ° F <br /> Cyanuric acid: >100 ppm pH: 7.6 Combined chlorine: ppm <br /> NOTES <br /> Routine spa inspection.The followings are noted. <br /> influent: 15 psi <br /> effluent: 21 psi <br /> Jose Costello, pool operator was on site for the inspection. <br /> The free chlorine concentration was at 25 ppm. The spa water was partially drained and filled to bring down the free chlorine <br /> concentration. <br /> The free chlorine concentration was still to high. Per Jose Costello, he will emptied the spa.
