(CBC 31208) <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed cracking and raised concrete pads on southeast pool deck area. Repair/resurface deck prior <br /> to opening pool. <br /> Observed damaged coping on north side on pool. Repair/replace prior to opening pool. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br /> top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br /> diving board,ADA device, or slide. (CBC 31148)Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The influent pressure gauge marker was past the clean filter mark. Backwash filter regularly to keep pool <br /> water clear. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 31238)Pressure gauge <br /> located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 31258)Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br /> can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
