Armstrong Rd, Lodi <br /> The following requirements have been identified as pertinent to this project. Other requirements may <br /> also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. <br /> 1) Applicant shall contact Navjot Sahota, Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist, Small <br /> Public Water System Program, at (209) 616-3039, to determine if the existing well can be permitted <br /> as a public water system prior to issuance of building permits. If a public water system is required, <br /> applicant shall submit a Small Public Water System preliminary technical report to the California State <br /> Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water (Water Board) at least six months before <br /> initiating construction of any water related improvement, as defined. The issuance of a permit to <br /> operate a small public water system by the local primacy agency (EHD) is prohibited without the <br /> concurrence of the Water Board. Please contact Brian Kidwell, P.E. with the SWRCB Division of <br /> Drinking Water at (209) 948-3963 concerning the requirements for preliminary technical report <br /> submittal prior to issuance of building permits. <br /> If the Water Board determines that an onsite well shall be used as the potable water source, a permit <br /> application to operate Small Public Water System shall be submitted to the EHD for approval prior to <br /> issuance of building permits. To issue a permit to operate, concurrence from the Water Board is <br /> required. A yearly permit to operate a public water system will be required by the EHD prior to sign <br /> off of the certificate of final occupancy (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1120.2 and <br /> 9-1115.9.). <br /> The supplier must possess adequate financial, managerial, and technical capability to assure delivery <br /> of pure, wholesome, and potable drinking water in accordance with San Joaquin County Development <br /> Title, Sections 9-1120.2 and 9-1115.9 and C.C.R., Title 22, and Health and Safety Code, Section <br /> 116525116570. <br /> 2) Prior to issuance of building permit a soil suitability and nitrate loading (SSNL) study incorporating <br /> proposed staff and customer use shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department, <br /> indicating that the area is suitable for onsite sewage disposal system usage. The studies must be <br /> approved by the Environmental Health Department prior to issuance of a building permit. (San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). The fee will be based on the current <br /> schedule at the time of payment. <br /> The onsite wastewater disposal system shall comply with the onsite wastewater treatment systems <br /> standards of San Joaquin County prior to approval.
