All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as'MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #1 Pool Gates MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Gate not self closing/latching. Provide. Corrected on site. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br /> Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool area <br /> except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 31198) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br /> maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:0 free chlorine. Provide 2 to 10 ppm. Pool maintenance introduced 1 gallon of 10%liquid chlorine. <br /> Retested to 4.2 ppm <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations:1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #3 Safety.Signs .. I <br /> I - - <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Sign lacking name and address, and diarrhea sign lacking the"within last 14 days"condition. Post in 3 <br /> days the name and address, and a sign in letters at least one inch high at the entrance area of a publiche pool which states <br /> that persons having currently active diarrhea or who have had active diarrhea within the previous 14 days shall not be <br /> allowed to enter the pool water(31206.11). This is a repeat violation. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operatorshall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high,unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate,or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 31208) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Debris on bottom of pool.
