Haggerty | Emergency Action <br />Plan Page 6 of 19 <br />2022 HCI <br />Actively participate in emergency drills and treat them as if they are real. <br />Participate in annual, mandatory training classes, seminars, video training <br />and complete all assigned quizzes and on the job training. <br />During an emergency: <br />Assist an Emergency Response Team member if asked. <br />Listen and wait for directions on how and when to evacuate the facility from <br />emergency response team members, security, police, or fire personnel. <br />Report any emergencies such as a bomb threat or threats of violence to your <br />supervisor first and immediately follow the assigned escape route <br />procedures to avoid crowding at the exits. <br />Report immediately to your designated meeting location upon evacuating <br />the facility. Do not take any side trips. <br />Never go back into the facility to retrieve personal belongings. <br />Reporting Emergencies <br />Report fire or other emergencies immediately, first call 911 (9-911 if using an office <br />phone) then notify your supervisor & the responsible person(s) listed in Attachment B. (main office) <br />2474 Wigwam Dr. <br />Stockton, CA 95205 <br />Major cross street – Cherokee Rd <br />(209) 475-9898 <br />Employee Alarm Systems <br />The employee alarm system for this facility provides warning so that employees can <br />escape safely from the workplace or the immediate work area. <br />The employee alarm system that has been established for this facility is as follows: <br />The building is equipped with fire horn strobe that will sound if a fire occurs or if <br />the manual pull handle is pulled. The manual fire alarm handle should be pulled if <br />a fire has occurred, or if there is a gas or Hazmat emergency where the building <br />needs to be evacuated and the authorities need to be notified. The alarm should <br />NOT be pulled in cases where an “Active Shooter” incident is in progress.
