All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Lacking max pool capacity on safety sign. Provide max capacity on safety sign in at least 4 in. high <br />letters today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #31 Disinfectant Feeders <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed chlorine tablet in deep end skimmer. Discontinue placing tabs in skimmer and use automatic <br />chlorinator. Corrected on site, tablet was removed from skimmer. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each pool shall be provided with a system capable of continuous disinfection of the pool water. (CBC 3123B) <br />Disinfectant feeders shall be capable of supplying not less than the equivalent of 3 pounds of 100 percent available chlorine per day per <br />10,000 gallons of pool water. (CBC 3134B) <br /> #35 Flow Meters <br />OBSERVATIONS: The flow meter was not working. Provide working flow meter today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br />manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3125B) <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: The effluent pressure gauge did not appear to be working. Provide working effluent pressure gauge and <br />if pressure difference between influent and effluent is 10 PSI or more backwash/clean filter. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
