Environmental Health Department <br />Time In: <br /> 9:40 am <br /> 8:58 am <br />Time Out: <br />Program Element: 3611 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA - PRIMARY <br />Telephone: (408) 409-2549 Owner/Operator: P & V GOLDEN PROPERTIES, LLC <br />Inspection Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION - Operating Permit <br />Address: 1123 W SWAIN RD, STOCKTON 95207 <br />Date: 08/10/2022Name of Facility: DELTA GARDEN APARTMENT <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is at 0 ppm. Adjust to 1 ppm to 10 ppm. Close pool until the corrections are made and <br />verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #9 Ladders and Handrails <br />OBSERVATIONS: One of the deep end hand rails was observed loose. Tighten handrail within one week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: A means of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool. Ladders and <br />handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be rigidly installed. At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a point <br />above the top of the lowest step. Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck. (CBC 3111B) Pool <br />operator shall keep ladders and handrails well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #16 Water Clarity <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pool water was slightly cloudy. Main drain was visible. Maintain pool so water is clear and the <br />bottom of the pool is visible from the deck. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clear pool water while pool is in use or shall close the pool if the bottom of the <br />pool at the maximum depth is not clearly visible from the deck. (CCR 65527) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: A weir was lacking in the skimmer. The skimmer basket was broken. Install all parts to the skimmer so <br />that it is in good working order. Correct within one week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
