On 6/3/98, representatives from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division, San
Joaquin County Code Enforcement, and the California Integrated Waste Management Board
performed an inspection of the above referenced property. The results of that inspection
revealed that solid wastes have been and are currently being illegally disposed of at this site.
This is a violation of the Public Resources Code (PRC) Sections 45000, 45005 and 45011,
California Code of Regulations, (CCR) Title 27, Sections 20680, 20810, 20870, San Joaquin
County Ordinance No. 2887, Section 5-2400, 5-24015-2500, and any and all federal, state or
local ordinances that may apply to the storage and/or removal of said wastes.
San Joaquin County has the authority pursuant to Public Resources Code Sections 45000, 45005,
and 45011 to order the property owner to cease and desist any improper action, and to take
corrective action to correct the aforementioned violations following a time schedule established
by San Joaquin County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division, for the site to be
brought into compliance.
Cease and desist any further unauthorized disposal of solid wastes on said property. Remove all
unauthorized solid wastes from said property, both above ground and below the surface, and
transport to a permitted disposal site or recycling facility, within 30 days of the receipt of this
letter.
We are aware that you have requested a meeting with the appropriate County and State personnel
concerning this matter. Unfortunately, the State staff who are involved with this matter are
