Ms. DeeAnne Watkins, County Counsel
Re: Cal State Mortgage - 23023 Santa Fe Rd., Riverbank
October 29, 1998
Page 2
Please also reconsider the possible solution that I offered: The County purchase the real property
from my client. Finally, it was agreed that the County would cooperate and share information. This
request for cooperation was a critical matter to my clients because they had been attempting to sell the
real property and meet with the county since early June of 1998. Unfortunately, that meeting did not
take place until October 5, 1998.
My clients continue to operate in good faith although they have suffered financial losses caused
by the County's delay. We welcome the County's present assertion that they are not "vindictive" and
want to resolve all issues so that my client investors can sell the real property as soon as possible. We
would, therefore, request a "clean bill of health" letter at the end ofNovember, 1998, the date the
abatement is expected to be completed.
Sincerely yours,
BRAY, GEIGER, RUDQUIST & NUSS
Alan Richard Coon
ARC:lh
cc: Steve Mindt
Robyn Drivon
Jerry Oberhelman
Mike Huggins
Alan Biedermann
