SWEESO, SENIOR ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
RE: BILL LANE INSPECTION
On June 2, 1998, I met with Bill Lane at his residence and
requested his permission to escort some members from the
California Integrated Waste Management Board onto his
property located at 23125 South Santa Fe Road, Riverbank. I
informed him that they were looking at the possibility of
using the "Super Fund" money to clean up his property and
needed to determine the scope of the cleanup. He granted
permission for us to enter his property. I asked him where
the big pile of brush and limbs came from and he stated that
he brought them there from his ranch and was going to burn
them by the weekend.
On June 3, 1998, I met on site with Steve Mindt, County
Environmental Health Division and two members of the Waste
Management Bureau. I showed them around the site and gave
them the information I had from previous cases I had on this
property.
While on this property they asked about some debris and junk
which was on an adjacent property which is owned by Leonard
Lyne_.
