Soils on this site consist primarily of CLAYS with some lenticular
SAND lenses.
2. The soils are waterlayed horizontal deposits extending to
considerable depth.
3. Groundwater currently exists between 60 and 70 feet below ground
surface in the general vicinity of the site.
4. Topography of the site is relatively flat with a gentle decrease
in elevation to the southwest.
5. Surface drainage is provided by Little John Creek. Little John
Creek in this area is an improved flood control channel . Prelimin-
ary estimates are that this flood control facility was designed to
handle the 50 year fregz:ency flood.
DISCUSSION WITH REGULATORY AGENCIES
Groundwater
We have discussed the proposed project with concerned members of
federal and state agencies who will ultimately review our project work.
