CON"NUAT10N SUM <br /> FORM 400A <br /> FOR FILING ADMINISTRATIVE REGULATIONS <br /> WITH TME SECRETARY OF STATE <br /> (Furman#to Qovorn~Code Udlon 113MI) <br /> (b) Surface drainage from tributary areas shall not contact <br /> Group 2 wastes in the site during disposal operations and for the <br /> active life of the site . <br /> (c) Gases and leachate emanating from waste in the site <br /> shall not unreasonably affect groundwater during the active life <br /> of the site . <br /> (d) Subsurface flow into the site and the depth at which <br /> water soluble materials are placed shall be controlled during <br /> construction and operation of the site to minimize leachate <br /> production and assure that the Group 2 waste material will be <br /> above the highest anticipated elevation of the capillary fringe <br /> of the groundwater. Discharge from the site shall be ubject t(� <br /> waste discharge requirements. � - ' <br /> J- � <br /> 2512 . Class III Disposal Sites�w Clash III disposal sites <br /> are those at which protection is provided to water quality from <br /> Group 3 wastes by location, construction, and operation which <br /> prevent erosion of deposited material. <br /> 2513. Waste Wells. Construction, maintenance, or use of <br /> any waste well extending to or into a subterranean waterbearing <br /> W stratum that is used or intended to be used as, or is suitable <br /> < for, a source of water supply for domestic purposes shall be in <br /> V) compliance with Article 6 (commencing with Section 13540) of <br /> Chapter 7, Division 7 of the Water Code . <br /> i <br /> ZWells suitable for the disposal of wastes shall provide <br /> W protection to usable groundwater as determined by the following <br /> t conditions: <br /> 0 <br /> 3 <br /> F (a) The receiving formation shall not be in hydraulic <br /> z continuity with any usable groundwater. <br /> 0 <br /> ° (b) Construction and injection procedures shall be such <br /> that no passageways are developed which will permit the movement <br /> of waste to a usable aquifer or to the surface . <br /> (c) Certification has been provided by the California <br /> Division of Oil and Gas that construction and operation of waste <br /> wells under its jurisdiction conform to regulations of the <br /> Division. <br /> Article 3. Classification of Wastes Discharged <br /> to Land <br /> 2520 . Group 1 Wastes. Group 1 wastes consist of or contain <br /> toxic substances as defined in Section 2500 and substances which <br /> could significantly impair the quality of usable waters.
