All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #1 Pool Gates MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The south gate was not fully self-closing or self-latching when the gate door is opened outward. Keep <br />south gate door locked until it is fully self-closing and self-latching. Corrected on site, gate door was locked. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br />Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool area <br />except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 3119B) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br />maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Lifeguard sign was faded and lacking max pool capacity on sign. Lacking emergency and CPR signs. <br />Provide CPR and emergency signs, legible lifeguard sign, and max pool capacity. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Skimmer baskets were damaged. Replace baskets within 1 week. <br />The southeast skimmer did not have a weir. Provide weir within 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
