The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved in <br /> the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br /> emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br /> fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by the facility owner. No further action <br /> is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: The business operator could not provide hazardous waste disposal records for(used oil and used <br /> antifreeze)the past three years during the inspection.According to Salvador Solares, business owner, he generates <br /> very little used oil and used antifreeze.The business is next to Manteca Ford Auto and the small amount of waste <br /> (used oil and used antifreeze) he generates he walks and places it into Manteca Ford Auto hazardous waste <br /> storage area from which it is hauled away by a licensed hazardous waste hauler. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. <br /> This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding <br /> the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Begin a record keeping log or consolidated manifest receipt which will document the <br /> date,the type and the quantity of the waste transfered from this facility to the neighboring facility(Manteca Ford <br /> Auto)for hauling. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 119 HSC 25404(e)(4) Failed to report accurate program data in the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). <br /> OBSERVATION: The EPA ID number have not been reported on the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> (CERS)website-business activity information page. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Each regulated business shall report program data electronically on the CERS <br /> website. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately report your business activities including the hazardous waste program on the <br /> CERS website.
