Septic tank and leach lines were exposed. The septic tank is located 50' south of domestic on-site water well and 10' west of the house. A 17' feet tight line runs south of the septic tank to the distribution box. From distribution 17' of leach line was exposed. Leach A runs east of the distribution box. This leach line meets setback standard from the proposed property line. Leach line B runs 24' south of distribution box and elbow off to east for another 15' of leach line followed by a brick line seepage pit. The seepage pit was filled with native soil. From the distribution it can be seen the line is full with clay. It appears to be abandoned. The new property line that will divide parcel A and B is approximately 15' south of distribution box very well separating leach lines into both parcel violation of 5' property setback from leach line. Since leach line B is abandoned the new proposed property line will meet setback requirements from welland leach field. The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and Safety Code. If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
