0- <br />SAN JOAQUIN <br />---C O U N T Y--- <br />°gtiP Greatness grows here. <br />September 15, 2022 <br />Claire Simpson <br />Drivon Consulting <br />3439 Brookside Rd., Ste. 104 <br />Stockton, Ca. 95219 <br />RE: Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br />1410 Frewert Rd., Lathrop <br />APN: 191-270-21, SR0085711 <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Jasjit Kang, REHS, Director <br />Muniappa Naidu, REHS, Assistant Director <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, REHS <br />Steven Shih, REHS <br />Michelle Henry, REHS <br />Elena Manzo, REHS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br />Loading (SSNL) Study, dated May 24th, 2022 and has the following comments for your consideration. <br />The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of onsite wastewater treatment system (OWTS) usage <br />and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater from the proposed Commercial Cannabis <br />Business Park. <br />Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings: <br />Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for <br />standard OWTS usage for the proposed development pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance <br />Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d). <br />2. Percolation tests conducted on April 12, 2022 yielded the following percolation rates of 1.04, 1.14 and <br />1.43 minutes/inch. At this rate, a twenty -foot soil separation shall be required between bottom of <br />dispersal field and groundwater pursuant to San Joaquin County Onsite Wastewater Treatment <br />Standard table 1.10.2. Per SSNL Study, groundwater on site is reported between 3.83 feet below <br />surface grade. <br />3.
