This screening shall include but <br /> not be limited to medical, mental <br /> health, and developmental <br /> disability conditions. <br /> b. Such screening is performed by a <br /> licensed health personnel or <br /> trained facility staff. <br /> c. There is a written plan to provide <br /> medical care for any inmate who <br /> appears in need or requests such <br /> treatment. <br /> d. Written procedures and screening <br /> protocol are established by the <br /> responsible physician in <br /> cooperation with the facility <br /> manager. <br /> 5. Mental Disorder Assessment. There are <br /> written procedures for a mental health <br /> screening on women who have given <br /> birth within the past year and are <br /> charged with murder or attempted <br /> murder of their infant. Screening <br /> shall occur at intake and, if post- <br /> partum indicated, a referral for <br /> further evaluation is made. (! <br /> ............ <br /> 6. Treatment Facility Transfers. <br /> Provision is made for transfer of <br /> mentally disordered inmates to <br /> treatment facility as provided in <br /> Penal Code 4011.6 and/or 5150 of the <br /> Welfare and Institutions Code, unless <br /> appropriate facilities and personnel <br /> are present in the jail. Developmentally Disabled Inmates. <br /> There are written procedures for the <br /> segregation of all developmentally <br /> disabled inmates.
