Geosyntec <br /> consultants <br /> 1. INTRODUCTION <br /> Geosyntec Consultants International, Inc. (Geosyntec) has prepared this Work Plan for Vapor <br /> Intrusion Investigation (Work Plan) on behalf of Glenn Springs Holdings, Inc. (Glenn Springs) <br /> and J.R. Simplot Company (Simplot) for the former agricultural chemical facility located at 1904 <br /> West Charter Way, Stockton, California(the Site). The Work Plan was prepared to describe steps <br /> to be taken to evaluate potential for vapor intrusion at the adjacent residential area to the Site, to <br /> assess potential health risks to residents. <br /> The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) requested submittal of a <br /> work plan to evaluate potential vapor intrusion for the adjacent residential area in a letter dated <br /> June 11, 2021. This Work Plan has been prepared to satisfy that request. <br /> 1.1 Work Plan Organization <br /> The remaining sections of this Work Plan and their contents are summarized below: <br /> • Section 2: Site Background—a summary of background information on the Site history, <br /> hydrogeology, and results of previous investigations and remedial activities; <br /> • Section 3: Investigation Objectives and Approach — a summary of the key objectives <br /> of the soil vapor investigation and the approach to be taken to implement the <br /> investigation; <br /> • Section 4: Field Activities—a description of the scope of work to be performed; <br /> • Section 5: Reporting and Schedule — a summary of the reporting and schedule <br /> associated with the investigation; and <br /> • Section 6: References. <br /> Work Plan for Vapor Intrusion Investigation I July 30,2021 <br />
