WHEN COMPLAINANT ASKED IF THEY WERE GOING TO DISCARD THE MILK, THE EMPLOYEE TOLD <br />THEM NO AND THEY WERE GOING TO PUT IT BACK IN THE REFRIGERATOR. COMPLAINANT ALSO ALLEGES <br />THAT THE REFRIGERATORS ARE NOT COLD. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS <br />I went to the facility and spoke to the manager who was not aware of the complaint prior to this investigation. <br />Per manager, go backs that are received as a return from a customer, are immediately discarded or given back to the <br />distributor for credit. <br />If there is a go back, when the customer is checking items out at the check stand, and the customer decides they do not want <br />the product, the product immediately is returned to the refrigerator (if the product needs refrigeration like milk etc) <br />The 12 door display cheese refrigerator is at 41F. <br />The 28 display door refrigerator that holds milk is at 33F. <br />The wall refrigerator that holds prepackaged salad was initially 44F and then went up to 55F, I spoke to the refrigerator repair <br />person via telephone who said unit is on defrost. <br />The temperature went down to 48F. <br />Provide at 41F or lower. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
