RODENT DROPPING AND MAGGOTS IN THE GARBAGE AREAS IN THE BACK OF THE RESTAURANTS. VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; 113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and have the potential to cause foodbome illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of the food facility. OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP 0 F -- COMMENTS No Temperature Data Collected COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS I went to the facility and spoke with the manager who was unaware of the compliant. I went with the manger to the dumpster area and observed four dumpsters with lids. The manager explained that the area was cleaned and that the dumpster is dumped 2 times a week. Per manager trash is taken from the facility on a cart that has wheels, as to prevent food from being spilled onto the ground. The manager showed me the cart and demonstrated how the trash is taken to the dumpster. I observed the area directly behind the dumpsters and the bottom of the wall has been sealed with foam. I observed a few maggots on the ground and area appears to be maintained. I did not observe "hoards of maggots and flies" The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and Safety Code. If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
