COMPLAINANT BELIEVES THEY ARE RUNNING SOME SORT OF
BUSINESS AND IS FRUSTRATED BECAUSE ALL OF THE FUMES ARE GOING INTO THEIR
HOUSE.
The complaint has reference number C00055234. If your operation has a business license with the
City of Stockton and you are generating hazardous waste then contact Environmental Health for
the appropriate permits and an inspection.
Hazardous waste must be properly disposed of at a facility, which can accept the specific type
of hazardous waste. This San Joaquin County website lists disposal solutions:
https://www.sjgov.org/department/pwk/solid-waste/how-do-i-recycle-or-dispose- .
People can transport small amounts of hazardous waste to the San Joaquin County Household
Hazardous Waste facility at 7850 R.A. Bridgeford Street, Stockton, CA 95206. The facility has
limited hours of operation and more information is at this website:
https://www.sjgov.org/department/pwk/solid-waste/san-joaquin-county-solid-waste-facilities/san-
joaquin-county-household-hazardous-waste-facility .
Please contact me at (209) 468-2986 or gbackussjgov.org with any questions,
Garrett Backus, REHS
Environmental Health Department
1868 E.
