Prior to sampling, each well was bailed to remove a <br /> volume of water equal- to five well volumes. The sample was then collected . <br /> and filtered through a #42 Whatman Filter Paper to remove suspended solids. <br /> The sample was then split and half of each sample was fixed with nitric acid <br /> to preserve for metal ions. <br /> These sampling methods and subsequent analyses are in conformance with <br /> "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater". Analyses <br /> were performed by- California Water Labs of Modesto, California, a water <br /> laboratory certified by the California Department of Health Services. Table 5 <br /> summarizes all groundwater observations and analyses at Monitoring Wells <br /> #7 and #9, <br /> Tetae_ lssociates <br />
