Street <br /> Sacramento, California 95816 <br /> Re: The matter of Class II-1 Solid Waste Disposal <br /> Site - Austin Road, San Joaquin County (Forward, <br /> Inc. ) Notice of Public Hearing for Consideration <br /> of Cease and Desist Order. <br /> Honorable Members: <br /> We have received notice that the California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board on May 27, 1983 at 10: 00 a.m. <br /> in the City Council Chambers of Stockton will consider <br /> issuing an order under authority of Section 13301 of the <br /> California Water Code requiring Forward, Inc. to cease and <br /> desist from violating or threatening to violate requirements <br /> in Board Order No. 73-183. <br /> Said notice indicated that certain discharges of waste <br /> were taking place or threatening to take place which violated <br /> or will violate the certain specific requirements of Order <br /> No. 73-183. <br /> This letter is to 'submit testimony with respect to those <br /> specific violations or threatened violations which are <br /> listed, in accordance with the notice, which requires such <br /> testimony to be furnished in writing no later than 9 May, <br /> 1983. <br /> Prior to indicating the testimony, may we most respect- <br /> fully suggest that this hearing be controlled by the Chair <br /> of the Board so that unnecessary and unduly repetitious <br /> testimony and testimony not limited to the issues which are <br /> set forth in the Notice be curtailed.
