All wells were installed in <br /> accordance with the specifications submitted and approved by your staff <br /> between the dates 2, May to 13, May, 1983. (A copy of the monitoring <br /> well detail is attached.) <br /> In response to suggestions made by your staff, 3" PVC casing was <br /> installed rather than the 2" PVC shown on the attached Detail. <br /> At completion of construction, each well was developed by injection of <br /> compressed air for a minimum period of 8 hours. A water sample was then <br /> collected and analyzed in a certified water laboratory for the chemical <br /> constituents required in our Revised Monitoring Program. Logs of all <br /> wells and copies of the certified reports of chemical analyses are <br /> attached in Appendices A and B, respectively. <br /> Prior to completion, permits for each well were obtained from the <br /> San Joaquin Local Health District.
