SANANJOAQUIN <br />—COUNTY <br />Greatness grows here. <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Linda Turkatte, REHS, Director <br />Kasey Foley, REHS, Assistant Director <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Robert McClellon, REHS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, RENS <br />Muniappa Naidu, REHS <br />Michael Kith, REHS <br />NOTICE TO ABATE IMMEDIATELY <br />August 29, 2019 <br />Luis Barajas <br />2520 Florida Ave. <br />Stockton, CA 95205 <br />Subject: Rat/ mice infestation at 2520 Florida Ave., Stockton, CA 95205 <br />A complaint has been received by the Environmental Health Department (EHD) alleging that you are responsible <br />for a public health violation at 2520 Florida Ave., Stockton CA 95205 <br />The nature of the public health violation(s) is (are) checked below: <br />Garbage/Refuse Storage or Disposal (San Joaquin County Solid Waste Ordinance Code, Sections <br />5-2400, 5-2402, and 5-2403). <br />Sewage Disposal (San Joaquin County Development Title 9, Section 9-1110.9). <br />X Rats/Mice (San Joaquin County Ordinance Code 1481 & 2896, Section 5-2801). <br />Flies (San Joaquin County Ordinance Code 1481 & 2896, Section 5-2801). <br />Cockroaches (Health and Safety Code Division 3, Section 2800 & 2800.5). <br />Dog Droppings (San Joaquin County Solid Waste Ordinance Code, Sections 5-2400, 5-2402, and <br />5-2403). <br />Abandoned and/or Unsealed Wells (San Joaquin County Development Title 9, Section 9-1115.5, and <br />9-1115.9). <br />Disposal on Premises (San Joaquin County Ordinance Code 887, Section 101, 6(a), 3). <br />The complaint states that high weeds and rotten fruit are causing a rat and mice infestation. To correct the above <br />violation, waste matter of any kind must be stored in a container with a close-fitting lid. The container must be <br />constructed so that it can hold waste without leaking liquids or escape of odors. Waste must then be removed to <br />an approved disposal facility at least once per week (every 7 days). All public health violations must be corrected <br />immediately. <br />If further complaints are received, an investigation will be made which may result in legal action being taken <br />at a rate of $152.00 an hour.
