The exploratory boring will be
a maximum of 6 inches in diameter. It is anticipated that the drilling of
the exploratory borehole will take three to four days, Positive hydrostatic
pressure will be maintained in the borehole 24 hours a day. Upon reaching
the total depth of the boring it will be geophysically logged. Immediately
following the geophysical logging of the exploratory boring, it will be
abandoned by pressure grouting the borehole with neat cement from the bottom
to land surface using a tremae pipe.
The exploratory boring will be located approximately 100 feet east of
Oro Avenue in east Stockton (Figure 1) . The boring will be at least 50 feet
away from California Water Service Well CWS20 and 10 feet away from the
property boundaries.
If you have any questions, please contact me at the Marley Cooling
Tower Company facility at (209) 465-3451 from Tuesday, September 6 through
Friday, September 9.
Sincerely,
HARGIS + ASSOCIATES, INC.
Peter T.
