Send copies of the receipts <br /> or other documentation and a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following items need to be replaced or maintained: <br /> -The eye wash located in the container storage room was not functional. <br /> -The eye wash solution located in the welding shop was expired. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:All facility communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment,spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the eye wash into proper working order by repair, replacement or testing. Provide a <br /> corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br /> -A white approximately 5 gallon bucket in the wash bay. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste.
