AdvancedGeo
An Employee-Owned Company
01
27 December 2021
Project No. 21-6680
Mr. Steven Shih
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E. Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Via Email: sshih@sjgov.org
Subject: Phase II Environmental Site Assessment Work Plan
All Mini Cans & Mini Trucks Auto
930 East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Stockton, California
95206
Dear Mr. Shih:
AdvancedGeo, Inc. (AGI) has prepared this Phase 11 Environmental Site Assessment
Work Plan for the property located at 930 East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard,
Stockton, California 95206 (site or subject property). The scope of work includes
advancing five (5) soil borings for the collection of soil samples.
This work plan has been prepared as required by the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (EHD) application for a boring/well permit. The site and surrounding
area are illustrated in Figure 1. On-site structures and proposed soil boring locations are
illustrated in Figure 2.
1.0. INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
During performance of a Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment, AGI identified several
recognized environmental conditions relating to the subject property, which included
underground storage tanks (UST) removed in approximately 1985 and two clarifier
locations in both the northern and northwestern portions of the property. Additionally, the
property has been used for historical automotive repair and auto wreaking purposes.
Historical assessment was completed by an independent consultant in 2015 in the UST
and clarifier area in the northern portion of the property but was not reported to the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. Additionally, there has been no record
of assessment for a potential clarifier in the northwestern portion of the property. Lastly,
assessment has not be completed to evaluate if use of the property as an auto wrecking
yard has impacted shallow subsurface soils.
837 Shaw Road • Stockton,CA 95215
Telephone(800) 511-9300 • Fax (888) 445-8786
