Per Steve,the totes are kept there until <br /> the company who made the product comes and pick it up. <br /> -One 55 gallon blue drum was observed next to the totes without the label "empty" <br /> -Three blue plastic 30 gallon drums and four 30 gallon drums are observed without the label "empty" <br /> -One 4000 gallon tank on the north end of the office observed without the label "empty" <br /> -Three 250 gallon tanks observed on the northwest corner of the equipment yard without the label"empty" <br /> -One 250 gallon tank observed on the west side of the equipment yard without the label "empty" <br /> -One 400 gallon rustic metal tank observed on the north side of shop was observed without the label"empty" <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Empty containers which previously held a hazardous material, including hazardous <br /> waste must be managed per Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)section 66261.7. Refer to this section <br /> and California Department of Toxic Substances Control guidance for more information. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all empty containers with the date they were emptied and manage <br /> within one year of that date. Manage the container per Title 22 CCR section 66261.7. Provide a corrective action <br /> statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 505 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label stationary hazardous waste tanks. <br /> OBSERVATION: The hazardous waste tank storing used motor oil does not have complete labeling. The <br /> hazardous waste label is ripped and no accumulation start date was observed. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the hazardous waste tanks with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the accumulation <br /> start date.
